HomeOwners Alliance, the UK’s leading consumer champion for homebuyers, owners and sellers has joined forces with Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) in a move that will expand the support, advice and resources available to people navigating the housing market.
Founded in 2012, HomeOwners Alliance helps homeowners make informed decisions and to campaign for a fairer and more transparent housing market. The organisation provides expert advice and practical services for all the key moments of buying, selling or owning your home, alongside consumer research and policy insight on issues affecting homeowners, buyers and sellers across the UK.
Through becoming part of the MAB group, one of the UK’s leading mortgage intermediaries, HomeOwners Alliance will benefit from additional investment and resources to expand its consumer advice, tools and research.
HomeOwners Alliance will continue to operate independently, maintaining its brand, editorial independence and consumer-first mission.
“Buying a home is one of the biggest and most important financial decisions people make. Once you own your home, you want to feel secure, happy and in control. HomeOwners Alliance was founded to champion homeowners and make the housing market fairer and more transparent. Through becoming part of the MAB group we will have the resources and reach to support even more people navigating the biggest financial decision of their lives.
Crucially, we will continue to operate independently and remain a strong voice for consumers. This partnership allows us to build on the work we already do – providing trusted guidance, research and campaigning to improve the housing market.”
“HomeOwners Alliance has built a strong reputation as a trusted and independent voice for homeowners. We’re proud to support the organisation as it continues to grow its impact and provide high-quality information and guidance to consumers across the UK.”
Becoming part of MAB will enable HomeOwners Alliance to further develop its guidance and services, expand its research into the challenges facing homeowners and buyers, and continue its campaigning work to improve consumer protections across the housing market.“
