How does it work?

The SpeedComfort is a plug&play radiator fan which requires no technical knowledge or tools. You simply install the fan underneath the radiator thanks to its magnetic strips, plug it in and fix the external thermic sensor on the radiator panel. The fan comes with a UK plug.

As the radiator heats up it will automatically turn on thanks to the external sensor. The fan circulates the warm air produced by the radiators twice as fast through the room. This drastically warms the room and cuts down on the heating time needed. As a result, you can reduce the thermostat settings by a few degrees without losing heat. After heating, the fan will automatically switch off.

You will be able to decrease the set temperature of your boiler which will help you cut down on energy use. This is because the fan will supercharge the power of a radiator at a low temperature as well as distributing the heat across the room.

The electricity needed to power the SpeedComfort will be very low as the fan only requires power while heating and the wattage is very low (1.5 Watt).

How can a radiator fan help save on energy bills?

SpeedComfort helps to save you money by:

  • Lowering the supply temperature of the central heating water which saves on gas
  • A lower central heating water temperature will mean less heat loss in pipes
  • Your room will heat up faster and reach the optimum temperature, so you don’t need your boiler to run for so long

How can it add comfort to your home?

  • The fans move heat from the radiator into the room more quickly
  • There is less residual heat in the radiator when the room is at temperature because the SpeedComfort moves heat from the radiator into the air. This results in a more even temperature in the room
  • The warm air is distributed throughout the room more effectively and evenly. The warm air will not rise and remain close to the ceiling
