Avoid paying high fees to high street law firms by using our legal advice line, staffed by fully qualified solicitors with the simple aim of solving your problem.
Members get one free telephone call per year and any further phone calls only cost £30 per call. Calls can usually be set up within 24 hours.

Our experts cover a range of disciplines and are on hand to provide answers to members’ technical queries. Members can ask up to five questions a year and we aim to get a response within 3 working days.

Why should I become a member of the HomeOwners Alliance?
We are the only members organisation in the UK championing homeowners’ and aspiring homeowners’ rights. Organisations like ours have been long established in continental Europe. Even in four short years, we have helped hundreds of members when they have had no-one else to turn to with homeownership queries. We also believe that as a group we can achieve more – enabling us to offer members discounted conveyancing – and raising media interest in our members’ difficulties where necessary.
What are the most popular issues you help members with?
Our Home Helpline helps members with the full range of queries homeowners may encounter – from first time buyers making offers, to sellers dealing with estate agents, home improvement projects, leasehold and planning queries and neighbour difficulties (e.g. noise). Other members join for our ask an expert service, legal advice line or to take advantage of our conveyancing discount.

Yes, our Home Helpline is manned by professional and understanding staff who will keep your information private and safe.

How quickly can you set up a legal call for me?
Normally we can set this up for you on the same day or the following day.
How do I apply my 10% conveyancing discount?
When you become a member of the HomeOwners Alliance, you will receive a welcome email including your membership number and a link to our conveyancing quote comparison tool. When you input your details into the comparison tool, you will need to include your membership number to get the discount.
How do I cancel my membership?
Your membership lasts for a year at which point it is automatically renewed. We will send you a reminder before renewing your membership – if you don’t want to renew, please just let us know and we will cancel the renewal.
