Best house sale experience!

We were hesitant to use an on-line estate agent due to concerns about the up front payment, what would happen if our house didn't sell and what incentive the agent would have to sell once monies were paid. However, we need not have worried! Daniel was excellent throughout what proved to be an extended sale process; he is very friendly, personable and extremely professional. Despite our fears, he was always available and he made it clear we could call him at any time. Even hearing his children in the background added a friendly dimension to it all. The photographer was exceptional; he didn't use a fish-eye lens and house viewers commented on the authenticity of the pictures. The on line process of appointment bookings worked really well, which allowed us direct control over the scheduling of appointments, as did the direct contact with the buyers during the sale process. Overall, we wholeheartedly recommend Yopa and their local agent.

During our whole time looking for properties our best experience was with Calvin Brooke. From the moment we made contact to view property he made every effort to accommodate us. Once we had arrived you could really tell that he had spent the time getting to know the property he was selling and knew every last detail. we could not fault his professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile.

House viewing was appropriately arranged, the agent was friendly and allowed time to view along with a conversation to explain the next steps. The agent was not forceful but simply stated the facts and what to expect.

Mis-selling services and con

Paid upfront fees to advertise my house with Yopa yorkshire (West yorkshire area), our agent had completely mis sold us services, he didn't do any viewing follow-ups or chasing, he had no idea there was even an offer submitted on our home, he took blurry photos but claimed the filters were enhancing it, and he said the house would be advertised on all local sites, which it hadn't been. Formal complaint had been opened and ongoing for over a month. Outcome was £100 refund as a final offer as Yopa claimed the rest we paid was to cover the "blurry photos" and services we had already received. Highly recommend you avoid Yopa at all costs. Completely mis sold the services, once they have your money they don't seem to care. Potential buyers even claimed they didn't receive 1 phone call from the agent. Total waste of time, money, and resources using this company.
