Excellent Service

From the initial valuation to the sale of the property, I have been very impressed by the service provided by Yopa. The agent, Kayley Mo, has been extremely helpful and has been very easy to contact whenever I have needed any help or advice! From when I instructed Yopa to the advert being ready took less than 12 hours, Kayley was able to take some great pictures of the property within a few hours and had the advert ready very shortly after. I was able to sell my property within a couple of weeks and the advert attracted a lot of prospective buyers. The Yopa website was very easy to use and I was easily able to manage viewings to suit my availability. I would highly recommend Yopa and will personally use them again for future sales.

This is the 2nd time I have used YOPA…

This is the 2nd time I have used YOPA to sell a house for me. Due to selling in two different areas of the country I have used two different agents from YOPA. Both fantastic! Phil who sold the house this time was just great . Enthusiastic and really on board with getting the best realistic price for my house. As we all know the powers of social media these days . Phil even did a video for Facebook which was great. We had a few complications along the way but these were due to our own personal circumstances but Phil helped guide us through everything we needed. The picturea Phil took really did do my house justice , which in a lot of other estate agent pictures they look rubbish and photos are everything when getting initial interest in your house from potential buyers and we certainly got a lot of interest They say selling your house is one of the most stressful times of your life and I did this at 8 months pregnant. Phil kept me reassured the whole time. Couldn’t recommend Phil and YOPA enough and if I decided to sell again In the future I will definitely be using YOPA again.

Paul is really helpful and knowledgeable on the area and properties we have viewed. He was always quick to respond to messages via the yopa portal as well.

i had never heard of YOPA, but asked for a quote, as they had recently sold a house nearby. really impressed with their quote - so opted to use them and paid a little bit extra for the premium service (so glad i did) from start to finish, its all so easy - great communication, great process, and clearly great at what they do - as house was sold in a matter of days if i could give 10 stars - i would!

Great Service from Lauren McMicheal & Peter Elson

Having recently sold my own house through a traditional estate agent and found them to be more incentivised by mortgage referrals and solicitor referrals for my buyers than they were by the massive cut of my sale they took, I decided to use Yopa recently to sell my moms house for her. We have just accepted an offer, 5 days after listing the property for £10k over the asking price. We had an incredible number of viewings in 3 days (~30) and Lauren McMicheal and Peter Elson were both excellent - Lauren arranges viewings when we asked, she worked long days with back to back viewings to get it done quickly and kept me informed all day, every day. Highly recommend this great team for your sale!

Yopa. Cheap and very very cheerful.

On a scale of one to ten, its gotta be ten. Our agent Dave Cook was nothing less than outstanding. Always on hand with helpful advise and useful tips. All calls were returned within minutes, viewings were instantly followed up and negotiations taken care of. He sold our house within two weeks then nursed us through all the legal stuff. Would highly recommend. However be aware if you use there solicitors, They may not be local. That did'nt seem to have a bearing on how things went with us but dont take it for granted that they'll be just down the road.

YOPA the cowboys of the estate agent world

Shocking experience with YOPA how they have any business is what’s even more amazing. The old saying is true that you get what you pay for. We put our house on the market just before lockdown so we only had a couple of viewings, and then we went into lock down. So can’t fault them at the start as we had a few viewings and then the country ground to a halt. Justin kept us informed at the start as well on what was happening ( granted not much but we appreciated the text message). So far so good. Then lockdown ended and we could then start having viewings again, and again we had one or two, but then the communication started to dwindle and so did the viewings. We left it a week or so before we messaged Justin to find out what was going on. This was when Justin informed us he had left YOPA and to contact head office for what we had to do next. So for a week I didn’t know an ex employee had a key to my house. To say I was a tad annoyed is an understatement. We contact head office and they didn’t know that Justin had left but said that our next agent is Chris. Now let me tell you something about Chris. Chris seems to think it’s acceptable to tell you that he will contact you in 48 hours to update you on the situation and doesn’t. So again you have to chase him on everything. He also thinks it’s acceptable to be very sarcastic and passive aggressive through email/text when you pull him up on his lack of communication. We then didn’t have any contact for 3 weeks from Chris (YOPA company policy is as long as the agent contacts you at least once a month that’s acceptable) so I was close to leaving them, and just paying the fee, but low and behold just before we got to that we had a viewing booked in for the following Saturday at 5pm. I then thought I’d see what comes of this viewing before seeing what to do. On the day of the so called viewing we get a message from Chris at 3pm saying that the viewer had only just confirmed (even though it was booked in a week ago) and asked if we could do the viewing ourselves even though we pay for the extra package of them doing it. They then say if we wait until after 6 they can do it but we have young child so this wasn’t convenient. So having spent the day getting it nice and presentable for a viewing we then stayed and waited for the viewer to arrive. We waited, and we waited some more until an hour went by and found that it was a no show. That was the final straw for us. We messaged Chris what we thought of the service and wanted to know their complaints procedure. We then contacted the complaints team on the Sunday. After 3 days of ringing them up about the complaint they finally got it logged on to their system. It then took them several weeks to actually come to any conclusion. Long story short we got a few hundred pounds from our cost and have to pay the rest. I cannot stress enough how much this whole fiasco has taken in time and energy and if it will save one person from using these cowboys it will be worth it.

I have my house on the market through…

I have my house on the market through YOPA. Nearly 4 months. Still not sold. They seem to attract alot of people who want to view the house, but have no mortgage whatsoever. Please do not use this company. They couldn't sell a carrot to a rabbit, yet alone sell a house.

Dream house still available yet can’t buy!

I’ve been trying to buy a house that’s advertised with Yopa - The house is my clear number one choice and happy to pay full price yet after 3 months without a single retuned call from the local agent I’m now purchasing my second choice through Reads Rains - the contrast in service is incredible. I arranged the viewings on line and the agent was meant to meet us - the home owner kindly showed us round and said It’s not the first time they hadn’t shown. I’ve complained to Yopa, and still not a single call from the local agent to progress the offer to sale. STAY AWAY from YOPA. Dreadful service and I agree with the earlier reviewer - they couldn’t sell a carrot to a rabbit!

The service provided by YOPA, and by our local agent Amanda Benzecry in particular, was superb. The platform itself gave us a good picture of what was happening at any time and everything worked smoothly and professionally. Key to our positive experience was working with Amanda. She was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. Having one dedicated agent was brilliant. Amanda was extremely flexible - her willingness to conduct viewings and respond to requests and emails at seemingly any time or day was a significant advantage compared to working with a high street estate agent. Amanda was sensitive to our requirements, would always go the extra mile to be accommodating and was also fun to work with. I highly recommend her.

Very happy with Parvez, the estate agent who came to value our house. His knowledge of swlling houses in bradford and the surrounding areas was impressive. Although we ultimately made the decision not to put our house up for sale at this time, we will definitely be contacting Parvez at YOPA when we do due to his professionalism and friendly manner.
