Sold our house 3hrs after on market Bill and sarah were fab and really got the job done, chased up to the buyer and kept us informed the whole way through.

We sold our home in Chepstow through sellmyhome.co.uk and Rosalind Levy was our agent. She was fantastic from start to finish. We were in a really difficult chain and Ros could not have done any more for us. We'd recommend sellmyhome and highly recommend Ros.

We had a great experience with Online Estate Agents(now Sell My Home)the whole process from start to finish was very personal, smooth and professional. Scott was able to show the viewers around our property for us and we managed to get an offer and sold with a few days. After that Sarah was our point of contact for the remainder of the process, we had major problems with the Land Registry and the legal side of things. The process took far longer than expected, and was very stressful. However Sarah was there the whole time to help communicate between solicitors and our buyer/vendors, and went above and beyond. Thankfully we managed to get in for Christmas! We were delighted with the service we received and would really recommend them.

I was introduced to Scott through a recommendation and after an initial meeting I trusted him to oversee my property portfolio. In particular, Scott helped to facilitate a sale of one of my properties where others had been unsuccessful. He always made himself available and guided me through the entire process until completion - removing all stress from the transaction. A special thanks to Scott’s team - Sharon, Sukhi and Caroline who were all supportive. Though I can not recommend Scott and his team highly enough. Sellmyhome have been really good throughout an extremely stressful house move. Everyone who you deal with is friendly, supportive and super helpful! I would not of been able to complete my house move without Sarah's support!

Be very careful and at no point trust…

Be very careful and at no point trust what the sales rep is telling you. Used sell my homes and paid an up front fee and was sold an insurance policy with it for £200 which the sales rep said you will get your money back bar the £200 if your property does not sell, which gave me confidence in parting with my money to an unknown estate agent. However the sales rep conveniently didn’t mention that if you accept an offer even if the property does not sell that voids the policy. After the pandemic hit the sales stopped and I received no more viewings and decided to activate this insurance policy only to be told it’s a money back guarantee and not a insurance policy and due to a offer that had been accepted but had fallen through it counts as a sale on the property and has voided this money back guarantee therefore I lose the fee and the £200 extra. Made several complaints all the way up to the managing director Mr Shezub Tayub and sales manager who has stated that the terms and conditions are outlined on the website but due to this policy being removed and not on sale anymore the terms and conditions no longer exists for you to view. From personal experience I would now rather pay that little bit extra to an high street estate agent who do not take a fee until the sale is actually completed. Yes you pay a bit more but trust me they will be more actively helping you sell your property and no need to buy some phoney insurance . Hope this will help potential future sellers and buyers to be more aware and read all small prints and do not trust anything they say as their word is worthless. No need to worry anymore for new customers as the insurance policy....wait money back guarantee is not on sale anymore, I can imagine why. In total lost out on just under £1400 after purchasing their after sales assistance as well. May not sound like much but to a new seller who have no experience in this area it has hit me hard and I will find it hard to trust online estate agents in the future. Lesson learnt the hard way. ..... Just received an reply stating I was fully aware of the terms and conditions. Clearly they have trouble listening as we would not be in this situation if I was aware and also I did not remove the advertisement, you guys did because of the lockdown and stated you would reinstate after the lockdown so I cannot see what offer Mr Shezub is offering as you guys said it would be listed again after lockdown but because I wanted to trigger the insurance....hang on a minute now been told it’s a money back guarantee, that’s the reason why my property has not been re-listed. Again told something but proven their word is worthless. And bear in mind the 97% positive reviews was before your merger and was one of the reasons why I risked using you guys but this post will hopefully help someone avoid my problems in the future. All I ever wanted was for what I sold to me to be honoured, not trying to claim anything else but if someone calls you up and sells you something (after registering interest on the website was called on a daily basis to sell me this service) you would expect to get what you have been sold.

Nathan Hill is amazing!!

I have to say, my overall experience with this company was good, but what made it exceptional, was a gentleman called Nathan Hill. This lovely man was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond what almost anyone would do. We were selling our house in Kent and Nathan was there from the beginning, middle, and slightly messy end! He was our account manager, who managed the process between our buyer, their buyer, and the solicitors. He gave us contacts for whatever we needed, no matter what we requested. He did not ask for any extra costs or fees, even though he would have been well within his rights to do so. I would recommend Nathan, even if I were not to use Sellmyhome. This is a man who absolutely knows his craft and is very passionate about obtaining a positive outcome for his client. On his own time, he made sure everything was going smoothly and if it was not, he took many hours out of his days, to make sure everything was in hand.

We have just purchased a property from SELLMYHOME and the professionalism and the communication was the best I have ever experienced being in the property market and dealing with different estate agents. Sarah the completion manager was always on hand to answer any questions we had and also when she was busy and left a VM she would get back to us very quickly. We had a few problems with the delay in purchase however she would keep us informed and do all our chasing up the we required, this was going above and beyond her job role which we really appreciate. Fantastic. Responsive Excellent Service

I cannot praise Bill highly enough! Bill is the Estate agent for the people we are buying from. Due to our own conveyancing company being absolutely useless I have had an incredibly stressful time, Bill however has been a rock! He has guided me through the process been available at any time of day or evening, he has saved our purchase by finding me a decent solicitor to sort out all our problems. This guy is what fantastic customer service is all about! I would without hesitation urge you to use this company He goes above and beyond to help Thank you so much!

From the start when Scott Cave came to value our property to when we finally completed Online Estate Agents/Sell My Home as a team were very professional and efficient throughout the whole process. Sharon, Caroline and all of the team worked tirelessly to get viewings booked in the diary. We trusted Scotts advice and experience and once we agreed on the sale, we were contacted straight away by Sarah Davies to deal with the process of completion. We cannot speak highly enough of Sarah she is very knowledgeable, reliable and efficient. She kept us updated at all times, if Sarah said she was going to ring me, I could always rely on getting that call. They go the extra mile!

Selling a house is a stressful experience for anybody who does not do it regularly and I can definitely say I do not do this regularly. It was my first time. So I made the same mistakes everybody does. I chose a big national estate agents who made big promises but as soon as the contract was signed these all fell to the way side. They showed my house to maybe two or three people and each time they did they set my home alarm off (despite my instructions with photos, on how to disarm) continuously. You may ask how I knew this, because my alarm sent me notifications about it. When I tried to ask them why they kept doing this all i got were excuses. Then of course COVID 19 reared its ugly head and lockdown after lockdown took place. This multinational (HAART) decided they’d done their job and that was it. Except i was in a 20 week contract with them, which i could not escape. Even if I signed with another estate agents I would still have to pay them if I sold my house within the time period of the contract. So I waited. I used the house as a place for people to self isolate if needed and waited out the time period. Then I called HAART (Aman Kaur) and told her I would no longer be requiring her services and signed on with another estate agents that had impressed me from the beginning. They may have been a smaller company then but they definitely had the work ethic I had been looking for. Within 24 hours of my informing Scott of my decision he had picked up the keys from HAART, and gone round to my house to take pictures, and by the afternoon my house was on rightmove. You ask me how I know all this happened so quick, because i got a notification when my alarm was disarmed! That’s right, despite not having photos etc he managed to disarm the alarm without disturbing the whole neighbourhood. They showed my house to plenty of viewers and each time I was informed before hand of times so that when the notification came up on my phone it would not be alarming. They got me an offer on my house, which may not have been quite what i was hoping for but given the recent downturn in the economy I was not going to turn down. Their job did not end there. They helped with sorting out communication between my solicitors and the buyers. They did whatever they could to sort out miscommunications that my solicitor could not seem to manage. When my solicitor gave me less than two weeks notice of the completion date, it was the estate agents who explained why and also helped come up with ways of managing to do it. They helped figure out compromises with the buyers which my solicitor had not been prepared to negotiate. I moved my furniture out two weekends before completion as that was the only time I had off before starting a new job and so my estate agents helped out by visiting the house to take meter readings the day before completion. They emailed me when the funds had been exchanged and they had been given instructions to release the keys to say congratulations. They did what they could to reduce the stress involved in this whole experience and for that I would recommend them to anybody who was thinking of selling their home.
