Very poor experience

Sadly we had a really bad experience. We had submitted an offer after viewing a property in Oval and our agent Nikita Patel didn’t even bother to let us know the offer wasn’t accepted. We had to phone in several times to find out our offer was declined. We decided to submit a second offer and once again the agent didn’t let us know if the offer was accepted or declined! Having known we could’ve put another offer down but we decided not to bother considering the very little effort from the agent!

Would highly recommend Purple Bricks

Sold our house with Purple Bricks. Both Ahmet Jemal and Roni O'brien were very helpful throughout the process. From the beginning we were impressed with the professional presentation of our property, the app was brilliant as we could see everything in real-time, from viewings to offers. Our whatapp group was invaluable and they were responsive to any messages or queries 7 days a week. Would highly recommend.

Chellie from Purplebricks was absolutely fantastic! She was friendly, informative and kept us up to date with all the latest news during our purchase. She worked tirelessly to enable us to get our dream home and we really could not have done it without her fantastic support. We cannot praise her enough. We have used Purplebricks before when selling too, and found them transparent and a pleasure to deal with. Their online services really are second to none and make the process so easy. We wouldn't hesitate to buy or sell through Purplebricks and highly recommend them. And a HUGE thank you to Chellie for making our dream come true!

Post Sales Support/DC Law

I’m in the process of purchasing a house sold by Purple Bricks. I has my offer accepted on 12th April, nearly 25 weeks later I am still waiting for completion due to the seller’s solicitors (DC Law) not acting accordingly. I am a first time buyer, and the house I am purchasing is not in a chain. What does this have to do with Purple Bricks you might ask? Purple Bricks recommend using DC law to their clients. Communication from DC Law has been disgusting from the start. My solicitors, not Purple Bricks can get in contact with them. Why are Purple Bricks still recommending this firm?? As for Purple Bricks Post Sales support team, I have been ringing everyday, sometimes 3 times per day for the past 3 weeks. Each time I speak to a different person and have to explain the whole situation again. 3 times my case has been escalated to the senior team who deal with solicitors and yet I am still no further in this purchase. On 7th September I send an email to both solicitors and Purple Bricks raising my concerns, an email which was never acknowledged or replied to. Surely Purple Bricks have some responsibility to help resolve absolute disaster of a sale since they are the ones who recommend DC Law?? As I have said, I am a first time buyer with no chair either side. This has caused me great stress and anxiety.

Marie Eaton was very professional…

Marie Eaton was very professional during the sale of my house in Scunthorpe. She couldn’t do enough to help me and went out of her way to accomplish items not within her remit. I would highly recommend her to anyone wishing to sell their property. The proceedings of the sale and the interaction between myself and the purchasers was exemplary.

Unhelpful

Unhelpful. Pay £1000 for basically putting your property on Rightmove. No estate agent available to be assigned to the sale. Left to do it on your own. It feels like they do not care and once you have paid your £1000 you are a burden.

5* plus service

My experience with my estate agent has been top 5* plus. Throughout the entire process of putting the house up for sale all the way to finalising and completing Gareth Llewellyn has been amazing, no question has been too much and explanations through the entire process has been given and has always gotten back to us very promptly if we’ve ever contacted for any reason, even went above and beyond his role when me and my husband locked ourselves out of the house and Gareth made sure we were able to get back in. I will be a Happy customer to purple bricks for these reasons detailed above I couldn’t thank him enough for everything.

I have recently purchased a property y in Llanrhos

I have recently purchased a property in Llanrhos. Due to some issues with a boundary wall the purchase took much longer than it should which increased the usual stresses of buying a house by a lot. However, I must commend the professional way Purplebricks agent Joanne Dervin assisted with the process. She was keen to facilitate a smooth conclusion to the problems encountered and became a trusted & reliable link throughout. Great service Jo!

Completely exceeded my expectations!

Purple Bricks completely exceeded my expectations at every stage in the sale of my property. I was very impressed by the efficient, helpful and friendly service provided by Emma Nugent, a West Midlands agent, who was always on hand for advice and helped to push things along quickly. The photos and videos were of extremely high quality and the app was helpful in tracking viewings and offers. My advert went live on 26/05/21 and I received an offer of the full asking price on 06/06/21 - Less than 2 weeks! I would thoroughly recommend Purple Bricks and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in future.

Absolutely brilliant service

Absolutely brilliant service. I would never go back to a ‘normal estate agent’ again. Tim Wickham was my local agent and took great care to take the best photos to make the ad stand out. My house sold in 2 days! He responded immediately to any queries and I was kept fully in the loop about viewings while I was on holiday. The purple bricks app is also so useful, and by keeping in touch with your buyers / sellers the whole process can be sped up significantly.

Excellent service from Purplebricks

Excellent service from Purplebricks, Katie Smyth was great my house was valued and up for sale in less than a week. My viewings were all taken care of by Laura Johnson and she made sure my offers were genuine before I accepted. Would definitely recommend.

The cheaper fees are a trap

The cheaper fees are a trap. If you try and walk away you still have to pay. The customer care is non existent. Phone calls not returned, the agents just disappear and even higher management don’t care either. Truthfully, paying a higher fee is worth it to have an agent that knows they won’t get paid unless they do their job. With PB you have signed away your money so they don’t bother to work for you or keeping you happy.

They haven't got a clue

They haven't got a clue. Appts showing as available online but everytime they're booked they're cancelled and told not available (yet still showing as available), just sent by automated message. Then appt cancelled before all the viewings are completed as under offer, again by automated message. Worse estate agent ever in the Whitstable / Herne Bay area

Amazing service from Audrey Lafferty and Sheena Christie

Defintely recommend Purplebricks for selling your property. It has been a very pleasant and friendly service through out. Presently living in Birmingham and wanted sell our property in Dundee. From the initial phone meeting with Audrey Lafferty , we felt she is very experienced and knowledgeable with local property market. She has been super efficient to get the property on market and always kept us informed at each stage. Sheena arranged viewings and with duo's magic, the first veiwing, on the day the property went on market, concluded with sale. Great team work and would definetely recommend Audrey Lafferty, if you are selling property in Dundee area.

Perfect service !

Purple bricks were amazing with my recent sale. Aaron Tomkins the agent that we delt with was very proactive throughout, He came to meet with us and got our house on the market quickly and kept us informed of any updates or changes. Our house sold very quickly thanks to Aaron and purple bricks and I would definatley recommend them

I was thoroughly impressed & my house sold quickly over the asking price!

I was really impressed with Dean Boreham & Caroline Vimpany who sold my detached house in Harefield super quick. From the moment I met Dean who came really well equipped with knowledge about my local housing market, I knew I made the right decision to go with Purplebricks. Caroline showed my first viewer around my property and the local area and I had an offer the same day! I was absolutely delighted!!! In addition the offer was over the asking price. It helps my property was lovely and in a desired area, but this super two people team absolutely knew what they were doing. They priced my property £25k over three other local agents and didn’t cost as much!!! What more could I ask for in selling my property. Both were really knowledgeable, professional and easy to deal with. I would recommend Purplebricks and certainly Dean and Caroline are a credit to the company.

Very easy and supportive process

We have recently had an offer accepted on a property marketed by purple bricks and couldn’t be happier with the process. Our Local Property Expert Ruth Hurst has been a god send to us, helping us through the process to help secure our dream property. Ruth has made herself available to us at every turn and we couldn’t be any more grateful.

Don’t get involved with this company

Whatever you do, don’t get involved in a chain with Purplebricks. The person at the bottom of the chain recently (just before exchange) announced that she hasn’t got a mortgage. Purplebricks are impossible to get hold of and basically aren’t interested in getting involved to try and find out what is going on. They clearly haven’t done due diligence on the buyer they have and now they have their money aren’t interested. This has cost us thousands despite us having an excellent estate agent and conveyancer. AVOID!
