I received excellent support from both Victoria Clay and Einar Perdomo at the Salford office. House sold within a week. Highly recommended.

Had valuation done, report never arrived, raised complaint and was ignored

I booked a valuation at my property, agent turned up and did the valuation and I was told the report would be sent to me that afternoon but never arrived. Cue numerous phone calls, emails and voicemails to the agent who never responded. I raised a complaint and the area Manager was asked to investigate, surprise surprise, no response! Why offer a service with no intention of delivering on it! Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and I’ll be telling everyone to avoid this company at all costs. Time wasters

Excellent service from day one very organised & a pleasure to work with.

Thanks Much to Everyone!...

The negative points raised from individuals and other estate agents to use Purplebricks services for property sale, I was hesitant to even approach. Through everything I decided to still go ahead and use their services.I can honestly say the experience process has been good. All the staff have been exceptional in the various process of sale. The property expert in that local area I was assigned to, Nicki Newton is excellent. I asked questions after questions to ensure Purplebricks was the right agent for business and Nicki was patience in answering my questions and genuine with her answers but at the same time not forceful.Another staff member that it has been a privilege to do business with is Mrs Tracey Pitts who assisted with viewings and the process of a smooth sale to the end of completion, have been brilliant. The way in which Mrs Pitts was so professional, communication was on point at all times, well experience in the effective advice, information given, always updating with process, showed the calmest approach under pressure. This service, I can say I have no issues to use again.

Would recommend purplebricks

So far my experience with purplebricks and Hollie Butterworth has been just what I wanted. I like the app and online side to the agents. I could book everything on the app send messages and text Hollie, which was really speedy. She was on the pulse with the current market and knew what to expect and that guided us. I’m happy to use purplebricks again.

Highly Recommend Keith Cross and Purple Bricks

Keith Cross has been amazing! We have been kept up to date at all times and everything has been handled so efficiently. We will definitely be using Purple Bricks again in the future and cannot recommend them and Keith Cross enough!

Michael Wady handled our sale brilliantly!

Michael was profesional, friendly, constantly contactable, and attentive throughout the entire sale process, including negotiating the sale above the asking price. We could not have asked for any more from him. As a result we really couldn't be any happier with the service he and Purplebricks provided. I would highly recommend.

Jacqui Perchard marketed and sold my property in a very quick, professional manner. Jacqui did the viewings on my behalf and gave my great feedback. I’ve used Purplebricks before and would highly recommend.

The absolute biggest mistake of my life…

The absolute biggest mistake of my life buying through purple bricks. They're awful to speak to, they don't update you even when chased. Their solicitors are absolute cowboys and buying my home has taken 6 months already (no chain!) and I'm still waiting. They took 4 months just to request BASIC information. Utterly appalling service!

Jacqui Perchard Rugeley

Jacqui Perchard has been amazing always professional, efficient and very approachable. We hadn’t used an online estate agency previously but Jacqui supported us through the process and made it very easy and accessible. She was always at the end of the phone when needed. We received an excellent service

Horrible service

Horrible service, haven’t got caution deposit and it’s been 6 weeks.Team hasn’t been responding. When I was a tenant, complaints were not responded, maintenance was not answering. The worst housing service I’ve got. It was nice at the start, but things started getting worst.

Amazing service from Andrea Foster-Bailey

Our journey with Purplebricks started when we fell in love with a property online which we booked a viewing for via the Purplebricks website. The property exceeded every expectation and we put an offer on the next day which was accepted. The only problem at this point is that our current home was not yet on the market! Shortly after our offer being accepted Andrea Foster-Bailey called me and explained the next steps of the process in a way that made us feel at ease and looked after by her. When we mentioned that we weren’t yet on the market she offered to visit us and provide a free valuation of our home. The next day, Andrea came over and valued our property and the very next day after that, we were live on the market. Andrea’s description of the property was spot on, it showed our home in the best light while not being over the top or promising anything the property wouldn’t deliver. The property gained immediate attention from buyers in the area and we had a viewing booked for the next evening. An offer was accepted the next day but unfortunately the buyer withdrew a few days later due to personal circumstances. I was extremely upset by this and worried about what would happen next, but Andrea dropped everything to put me at ease that the property would automatically be put back on the market and that she would get us sold again. Andrea pulled through on her promise, a few more viewings were very quickly arranged and a few days later we were sold subject to contract again! Andrea has excellent negotiating skills with potential buyers and got us the best offer we could have asked for. We are absolutely amazed by Andrea Foster-Bailey’s service, she is professional yet personable, quick to respond to any queries or concerns we have even outside of typical working hours, and truly cares about the work she does which shows through the level of service we have received. We would 100% recommend Purplebricks to anyone looking to sell or buy a home, but more specifically we would recommend Andrea Foster-Bailey to work with via Purplebricks. She is an absolute credit to the company and has made our experience in buying and a positive one with zero stress.

NOT GIVING SELLERS ACCESS TO ALL LEADS FROM THEIR ADVERT

The idea of online estate agents is a good one.The problem is that Purplebricks is only sending through a small number of the enquiries about a property to the seller. It appears selling the property advertised is not the key purpose. It appears the key purpose is to use the leads generated by an advert of a seller's property to drum up mortgage business, rather than putting that lead into direct contact with the seller. It appears that only a small number of potential buyers are sent through to the seller. Maybe the agent gets all the leads, I don't know, or Purplebricks HQ or both.To be successful going forward, Purplebricks needs to play fair. All leads stemming from an advert of a seller's property should go straight to the seller immediately, if the seller is doing the viewings. If Purplebricks change this and let the seller have access to all the leads from their advert, then this review will be revised upwards.Secondly, I was told and then tried it out myself, when buyers see a seller's advert, there is a phone number by it. If you phone that number, it encourages the seller to set up a Purplebricks account, then goes silent as if the call has ended. My phone was left on in error and 2 minutes later !! the message continued saying if you want to speak to someone press one. However, most people would have rung off by this time thinking the call has ended. Lots of potential buyers could be lost this way. This is an important point too. Purplebricks need to leave a fair message, without a long pause as if the phone call has ended, suggesting it doesn't want to field calls from prospective buyers. If Purplebricks change this, then I will reconsider this rating. Hope this helps.

Very poor communications

Very poor communications, we have asked why our house has been viewed online Over 2500 times but have only had 3 viewings? Still waiting a reply🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

So far our experience of letting our…

So far our experience of letting our property has been disappointing, the agent doesn’t respond to queries, the app is rubbish .They haven’t even taken any keys to get into the property so it can be viewed. The quick bit about the process was the photos being taken.

The Worse management , unprofessional, the agent will never get back

This estate agent don’t even deserve 1 star. The agents who manages the property is very unprofessional. I have booked a viewing for a property 2 times the agent cancelled the viewing without any notification or any notice. I had to call Purplebricks and they tell me it’s been cancelled. However I have placed an offer for a property and advised me to upload my principle and agreement on credas which I did. I called Purplebricks and they told me that agent who is dealing with the property will update me, having been waited few days I called the agent who never answer the phone and left messages and never return the call. It’s very disappointing and frustrating that the agents do that. However eventually after calling the agent maybe 100 times ( no lie can provide the phone bill to proof) I managed to speck to agent who advised me that apparently vendor best friend who work for Purplebricks and it’s hard for him to communicate with the best friend and the vendor, given me a stupid answer. Then why would he be managing the property if the best friend work with purple brinks. It’s been very difficult to deal with purple bricks, wasted my time getting all documents ready and now they ignore me. If you selling your house don’t use purple bricks.. they lie and lie. Never have any issues with other estate agents.. I will email the ceo of purple bricks. Not happy with the service all all. If you selling your house think 100 times before u sign the agreement. I don’t want to name and Shame the agent.. if you know you will fix up.

Hid higher bids from the seller just to get their fee

Be really careful they are slippery snakes, our offer was higher than another bidder and Purple Bricks did not pass this on to the seller for consideration. As a seller I would be furious to know other buyers were willing to pay more and they had hidden the truth from me. The agent only earns a flat fee, not interested in getting a good price and their process void of care and skill. Stay clear!

This is very simple

This is very simple - the whole process was quick, simple and very easy. Gemma Bickerdike and Jerri Thomas were there all the way and nothing was too much trouble. I can’t thank them enough, the sale was extremely quick and it was so easy to track viewings and offers on the site, with the added bonus - I saved a lot of money!!

Worst ever estate agent

Worst ever estate agent. Do not trust what they calim on their website or when listen to their advert when you call them. They take your money after 12 months regardless your property is sold or not. Rude and liars.Avoid Avoid Avoid
